Job summary
Butterball currently seeks an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to analyze and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems within our production facilities. You will design control system improvements, lead equipment upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or a closely related field, plus experience with PLCs, electrical schematics, and Allen Bradley systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in facility production equipment.
- Design and implement improvements to electrical control systems to optimize production efficiency.
- Develop and oversee preventive programs based on engineering analysis.
- Ensure electrical systems comply with safety regulations and codes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Program and configure Allen Bradley hardware, software, and drives for automation.
- Lead projects including installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain GMP and product standards.
- Provide training to maintenance staff and operators on electrical systems.
