Job summary

Revolution Technologies in the Northeast region seeks a senior electrical engineering leader to manage the regional department, guiding feasibility, design development, estimating, staffing, and construction support for life-science facility projects.

The role will oversee about 20 engineers and designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with NEC and local codes, and drive staffing plans and project delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• At least 15 years of practical application of electrical engineering and design, including building electrical systems and NEC compliance.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred.
• Experience with medium and low voltage power system design, large UPS/Generator systems, lighting, grounding, and heat trace in life-science facilities.
• Experience managing multi-discipline teams and interfacing with client technical representatives.
• Experience in staffing estimates based on project scope and deliverables.
• Proficiency with Revit software.
• Extensive collaboration with Life Science electrical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Northeast regional electrical engineering department and manage approximately 20 engineers and designers.

Senior leadership role responsible for managing the Northeast regional electrical engineering department. The manager will lead approximately 20 engineers and designers supporting life-science facility projects through feasibility, design development, estimating, staffing, and construction assistance.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 15 years of practical application of Electrical engineering and design, including Design of building electrical systems and application of NFPA 70(NEC) and applicable local building specialty codes
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, highly preferred
• Experience with medium and low voltage power system design, large UPS/Generator system design, lighting system design, grounding system design and heat trace as part of a cross functional design team in a life science facility setting.
• Experience managing a team / working on multi-discipline teams & client technical representatives
• Experience in preparing electrical design staffing estimates based on project scope description and deliverables
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit software
• Extensive experience collaborating with Life Science client electrical professionals
