Job summary
Valar Atomics is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design low‑voltage electrical systems for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities. You'll contribute to LV system design, power studies, equipment specifications, and field support while collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
This role offers hands‑on experience with first‑of‑a‑kind industrial facilities, exposure to complex electrical systems, and a culture focused on autonomy, ownership, and impact in a cutting‑edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 1+ years of electrical engineering experience in complex facilities.
- Familiarity with LV distribution and NEC/NFPA 70E standards.
- Experience with power system analysis software (SKM/ETAP/EasyPower).
Responsibilities
- Develop LV distribution designs and load lists.
- Perform load flow, short circuit, and harmonic analyses.
- Support arc flash labeling per IEEE 1584 / NFPA 70E.
- Prepare single line diagrams and equipment layouts.
- Coordinate with I&C, mechanical, and civil teams.
- Assist in pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Review vendor drawings and technical documentation.
