This role blends field oversight with office engineering, requiring travel to project sites and collaboration with PMs, contractors, and operations. You will review designs, specs, and submittals; support development, design, construction, and turnover; and ensure compliance with codes and company practices while promoting safety and quality.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of engineering experience in utility, energy, industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience guiding large capital projects through design and construction.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering docs.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide engineering support for utility-scale solar and BESS projects through the project lifecycle.
• Review engineering designs, technical specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and contractor deliverables.
• Support project development, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Serve as a technical liaison between engineering consultants, contractors, PMs, operations, and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve technical issues impacting schedule, cost, or quality.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction and verify compliance with engineering requirements.
• Evaluate design alternatives and provide technical recommendations to optimize performance.
• Support scope development, risk assessments, constructability reviews, and engineering estimates.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, environmental regulations, and company practices.
• Assist in reviewing RFIs, engineering change requests, and field modifications.
• Support commissioning activities and operational readiness reviews.
• Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to safety requirements.
