Job summary

RTX offers an Electrical Engineer Summer 2027 Intern role in Rockford, IL. You will develop test equipment and setups for aircraft power generation components, supporting development to production lifecycles in a multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline, with hands-on design, build, and checkout of electrical systems and harnesses. Onsite at Rockford, IL.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Provide Electrical Test Setup support and troubleshoot Electrical Test Setups.
• Coordinate Test Setups with Test Operators and collect Test Performance Data.
• Assist in Facility upgrade projects.
• Assist in design of Test Stand Safety Interlocks.
• Create electrical schematics to document designs.
