Job summary
RTX in Rockford, IL is seeking a Test Equipment Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support electrical control systems and test equipment used for aerospace production, R&D, and qualification testing. Focus on electrical control panels, data acquisition hardware, and software integration, with collaboration across engineering teams.

Qualifications
- Minimum STEM degree and 2 years relevant experience or Advanced Degree.
- Experience with motors, VFDs, and power distribution for aerospace test equipment.
- Experience with LabVIEW for Windows, RT, and FPGA.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for schematics and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical control panels and power distribution for aerospace test equipment.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics and documentation.
- Integrate data acquisition hardware and software and validate systems.
- Manage cost estimates, schedules, and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and troubleshoot issues.
