UEC in Chicago is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join our project teams working on power plant retrofits, new generation installations, and renewable energy projects. You'll assist in preparing drawings, calculations, and designs under senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in AC power systems analysis.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with a strong grounding in electrical power concepts and AC power systems analysis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and strong PC skills.
• Preferred but not required: prior related internship or co-op experience and enrollment in an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Understanding of practical application of electrical engineering principles, techniques, and procedures to project design.
• Willingness or ability to solve engineering problems using data, automation, and AI tools to improve workflows and deliver cost-effective designs.
• Valued skills include programming or scripting (Python, MATLAB, advanced Excel) for automation.

Aufgaben

• Work on project teams assisting engineering members with execution of projects including power plant retrofits, new generation installations, renewable energy projects, and oil and gas facilities.
• Assist in preparing engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and designs under senior engineers' direction.
• Participate in electric power equipment document reviews.
