GBA’s Buildings Group in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support the design of mechanical and electrical systems for data centers and telecom facilities. You will work with an integrated team of architects, engineers and project managers, preparing construction documents and reviewing shop drawings while learning industry standards and coding requirements.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering and have familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit and

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Preparing construction documents for various systems
• Review of shop drawings and RFI’s
• Verification of permitting and code requirements
• Facility evaluations and engineering studies
• Trouble shooting and commissioning
• Other fun duties as assigned!
