Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong experience supporting hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Revit/Revit MEP, AutoCAD, BIM, and electrical design for large‑scale data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and engineering of large‑scale hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects.
• Develop and review electrical layouts, drawings, models, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Use Revit/Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and BIM tools to develop and coordinate electrical designs.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, mechanical, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Work closely with project teams and field personnel to deliver projects on schedule and within scope and budget.
• Conduct field surveys and site assessments of existing facilities.
• Review drawings and models to ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, specifications, and client requirements.
• Perform or review electrical calculations and engineering studies as required.
• Support design decisions related to redundancy, resiliency, reliability, and critical power systems.
• Review BIM models and drawing production for quality, accuracy, and constructability.
• Coordinate with internal and external clients to understand project requirements.
• Identify design risks and develop practical solutions for complex or ambiguous project requirements.
• Lead project activities including schedules, budgets, staffing, and technical deliverables.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Support project pursuits and business development activities, including scope development, site visits, and level‑of‑effort estimates.
• Provide technical support during construction and resolve design-related issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5-11+ years of related electrical engineering/design experience.
• Proven experience working on hyperscale data centers, data centers, or mission‑critical facilities.
• Strong proficiency with Revit/Revit MEP.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Experience with BIM‑based design and coordination.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering design principles, applicable codes, standards, and design guides.
• Experience with electrical power distribution and critical facility electrical systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Ability to lead projects and provide technical direction to engineers and designers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hyperscale data center environments.
• Experience with different data center models, including hyperscale, edge, and colocation facilities.
• Understanding of data center tier classifications.
• Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit worksets, view templates, and project phasing.
• Experience with electrical redundancy and resiliency strategies such as N+1, 2N, and 2N+1.
• Experience with critical power systems, UPS, generators, medium‑voltage and low‑voltage distribution.
• Experience performing electrical load calculations, voltage‑drop calculations, short‑circuit studies, breaker coordination, and arc‑flash studies.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or active pursuit of professional registration.
• Previous experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong client‑facing and presentation skills.
