Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Leo Optical Inter-Satellite Link within the Inter-Satellite Link Avionics team based in Redmond, WA. You will design electrical systems, perform board bring-up, and contribute to system-level testing across spacecraft interfaces.

Qualifications

BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of hardware engineering experience.
Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design.
Experience with PCB design and debugging, including microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, ADCs and sensors.
Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools

Responsibilities

Lead a variety of tasks, from board design and component selection, to layout review, board bring-up, system test and root cause analysis at the subsystem as well as system level.
Ensure high quality and innovative designs, while also supporting other colleagues with reviewing and improving board and other electrical designs.
Collaborate with multiple spacecraft design and integration teams and stakeholders.
Tackle complex problems with autonomy and rapid iteration across HW/SW interfaces
