Job summary

Hargrove EPC is seeking a design-focused Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer with 3+ years of experience to develop complete designs for diverse projects. You will work under supervision to produce detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications aligned with NEC and industry standards.

Responsibilities include supporting drafting, reviewing vendor inputs, and providing field data during installation and startup. A B.S./M.S.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of the current NEC code.
• Familiarity with installation details of construction bulk materials and equipment.
• Ability to perform lighting level calculations.
• Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power applications.
• Ability to perform voltage drop calculations.
• Ability to route conduit and cable tray.
• Ability to calculate tray and conduit fill; determine motor control center loading.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical and instrumentation engineering designs under supervision.
• Produce designs using department standards and deliverables for construction.
• Assist drafting and resolve layout problems with sketches and details.
• Review vendor drawings for electrical/instrumentation input.
• Provide field data gathering and on-site construction support.
