Job summary

Arconic is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong leadership to design, troubleshoot, and improve facility electrical distribution systems across manufacturing and R&D environments. You will ensure code compliance, mentor teams, and drive capital project scopes from conception through execution.

The role emphasizes NFPA/NEC/OSHA compliance, electrical safety, and collaboration with EHS and operations to optimize reliability and performance of power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of power and electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve facility electrical distribution systems (medium/low voltage, switchgear, MCCs, transformers).
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing equipment and process electrical systems with a multi-discipline team.
• Develop scopes of work and cost estimates for capital projects at various FEL stages.
• Lead onsite Electrical Safety Program ensuring NFPA/NEC/OSHA compliance and coordinate with EHS for updates and training.
• Support electrical safety initiatives (arc flash studies, lockout/tagout, preventive maintenance).
• Coordinate engineering resources outside of discipline with management.
• Manage project team members and contractors for safe project execution.
• Communicate status to project team and stakeholders regarding scope, schedule, and budget.
• Capture changes to electrical systems and update design drawings for building record revision.
