Job summary

Arconic is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead capital projects across the Plate department from conception through commissioning. You will mentor other engineers and coordinate with technical staff, maintenance, and production, reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer.

The role emphasizes self-directed, daytime hours with potential off-shift support for project needs. Collaboration and continuous improvement are core to this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 3+ years of experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• This role may require export control compliance under ITAR/Export Administration Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of electrical engineering projects from concept to closure.
• Lead problem solving with multi-discipline staff, maintenance and production.
• Use PI Vision and Data Link to analyze process issues and provide solutions.
• Develop electrical control solutions for process improvements and reliability.
• Assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues.
• Perform PLC/HMI redesigns and upgrades.
• Install and troubleshoot camera systems on industrial equipment.
• Incorporate SMART Manufacturing into automated inspection systems.
• Mentor employees to share knowledge when needed.
