Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer in Training to assist senior staff on projects, learning standards and procedures while contributing to design work using Revit and AutoCAD.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering from ABET-accredited programs and demonstrate knowledge of industry methodologies and MS Office tools. This is a full-time on-site position at SSR’s offices in the Dallas area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry software: Revit and AutoCAD; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Learn industry standards and company policies during project execution.
• Assist with design production using Revit and CADD under supervision.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and support design processes.
• Coordinate with disciplines to determine equipment needs and procedures.
