Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Raleigh office.

You will assist senior design staff in executing technical activities, learn industry standards, and contribute to designs using Revit and AutoCAD under supervision. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering from ABET-accredited programs, are familiar with MS Office, and eager to develop in a collaborative design environment that serves facility and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• Knowledge of industry software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist senior design staff in executing technical activities on assigned projects.
• Learn industry standards and company policies and procedures.
• Produce designs using Revit and/or AutoCAD under supervision.
• Support project teams in design coordination and documentation.
• Read blueprints, specifications, and engineering reports.
