Collins Aerospace is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our Defense Technologies team in the Applied Research & Technologies group. The role centers on hands-on design, prototyping, integration, and characterization of advanced electronic systems supporting next-generation defense and mission systems.

Qualifikationen

• Requires degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Familiarity with common EDA tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, Mentor)

Aufgaben

• Support the design and development of analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics for defense technology applications
• Develop prototypes and early-stage demonstrators, including schematic capture and PCB design support
• Perform lab characterization and validation of electronic subsystems using test instruments
• Assist in system integration involving embedded electronics, sensors, RF subsystems, power electronics, or signal processing elements
• Participate in requirements definition, design reviews, and risk/issue tracking
• Contribute to technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders and government customers
