Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for Collins Aerospace in Fort Wayne, IN. Design and develop circuit card assemblies for mission-critical systems, from requirements through fabrication. You will create schematics, perform PCB layout, and conduct hands-on lab testing using diverse test equipment.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and US citizenship. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance.
• Citizenship required for security clearance.
• Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design and circuit card assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuits and select components.
• Develop circuit card assemblies from requirements to fabrication and testing.
• Create and maintain schematics with ECAD tools.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using ECAD tools.
• Conduct hands-on lab testing and debugging with test equipment.
• Participate in design reviews and verification testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and use MATLAB/Simulink for validation.
