Job summary
Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineer II in Texas to provide technical engineering support and ensure project compliance with codes and standards. You will guide junior staff, produce detailed electrical designs, and perform protection and coordination analyses for large-scale power systems.
You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, perform field surveys, and contribute to value engineering efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of engineering experience.
- Engineer-In-Training encouraged to pursue PE registration.
- LEED AP is desired for this position.
- Combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects of limited scope and oversee junior engineers, designers and staff.
- Review and process submittals in coordination with the Engineer of Record.
- Develop electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, grounding and auxiliary systems.
- Perform system modeling, short circuit, arc flash and protection analyses.
- Produce technical reports and recommendations on protection and coordination.
- Coordinate study results with procurement and construction requirements.
- Visit jobsites for data collection and verification of conditions.
- Participate in design meetings with clients, architects and contractors.
