Job summary

The role reports to an Engineering Team Leader in Corporate Engineering and requires AutoCAD/Revit proficiency and NEC knowledge. The ideal candidate has a 4–7 year track record, a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Architectural Engineering or an Associate in Electrical Technology, and travel of 5–15%.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering or an Associate degree in Electrical Technology with 4–7 years of related experience.
• Proficient in PC use and Microsoft Office; AutoCAD/Revit experience required.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Level 1 Engineers and Designers.
• Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
• Prepare drawings and electrical specifications to ensure installations meet standards and customer needs.
• Plan layouts for electrical construction projects.
• Conduct field surveys and analyze data to resolve power system issues.
• Coordinate with customers to discuss projects and requirements.
• Ensure activities comply with codes and customer specs.
• Inspect installations for conformance to design and equipment specs.
• Compile data and write reports on engineering studies and projects.
• Operate engineering and design software to perform tasks.
