Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineer II in Hillsboro, Oregon. This mid-level role provides technical engineering support to senior engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and specifications for power distribution, lighting, and energy conservation.

You will oversee junior staff, review submittals, develop specifications, and assist in design and field surveys on state-of-the-art electrical systems across commercial and high-rise projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
• Engineer-In-Training completion or PE registration encouraged.
• LEED AP is desired for this position.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior engineers and staff assigned to your work.
• Review equipment and system submittals with the Engineer of Record.
• Generate electrical specifications for projects.
• Develop a complete sequence of operations for all systems.
• Coordinate design work with architects, structural and MEP trades.
