Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer II/III to join our team, with opportunities across diverse energy and industrial projects including oil, gas, power, renewables, and utilities.

You may be located in multiple US locations with remote options, and the role includes leading projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and advancing to higher levels of technical leadership as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
• Engineer II: typically 1–3+ years of related engineering experience.
• Engineer III: typically 3+ years of related engineering experience.
• EIT license is preferred.
• PE license a plus particularly for Engineer III-level candidates.
• Practical or hands-on experience in power, control, and communications systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design and drafting duties to assist engineers in the design of electrical and control systems.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians to complete the design of large and complex industrial systems.
• Lead moderate to large-sized projects and make decisions and recommendations on technical or complex issues.
• Develop design documents and drawings including one- and three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.
• Prepare specifications for procurement, installation, and testing of electrical equipment.
• Provide design review support and direction to lower-level engineers and designers as appropriate.
