Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Hardware Electrical Engineer II to develop high-speed digital designs for defense applications in Cedar Rapids, IA and Fort Wayne, IN. You will manage circuit card design from requirements through test and verification, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver reliable, mission-critical hardware.

This role requires DoD security clearance, onsite work, and hands-on experience with PCB layouts, signals integrity, and test methodologies in aerospace

Qualifications

• Experience with schematic capture tools for circuit card designs.
• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Perform circuit card design lifecycle activities from requirements to test and integration.
• Design and verify digital hardware using FPGA, processors, and DDR memory.
• Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to meet system specs.
• Support production test hardware including CCAs and test interfaces.
