Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Electrical Engineer II - Embedded Hardware in the United States. This role focuses on independently designing, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting embedded electronic systems for low- to mid-complexity projects.

You will collaborate with global teams, apply platform reuse, and support designs from concept through qualification and release. The position emphasizes data-driven decisions and manufacturability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical or embedded hardware design.
• Experience with embedded systems, analog and digital circuit design, PCB design and manufacturing, and verification fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded hardware and firmware for low- to mid-complexity projects.
• Develop analog and digital circuits including microcontrollers, power supplies, sensors, interfaces, and protection circuits.
• Create and review schematics, support PCB layout, run circuit simulations, and ensure signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Develop testing plans, procedures, and cases for components, PCBs, subsystems, and platforms.
• Use lab equipment to perform measurements, gather data, and validate designs.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve hardware/firmware issues with urgency.
