Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in distribution operations, outage scheduling, or related coordination.
  • Ability to travel to field locations and occasional out-of-town travel.
  • Proficiency with electrical theory and system operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planned feeder development from conception to completion.
  • Schedule feeder and outage work with multiple departments.
  • Review Distribution Development Plans to improve reliability.
  • Serve as liaison with Real Time Operations and Distribution Control.
  • Utilize power modeling software to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Perform contingency switching studies and develop operational plans.
  • Assist with investigations of voltage issues and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Provide technical support on special projects and training.
  • Travel to field locations as needed.
