Job summary

Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. seeks an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to coordinate all technical activities on IFE/Electrical or Actuation systems for aircraft seats.

You will plan, schedule, and oversee electrical design work, ensuring compliance with airframe and customer requirements and coordinating across Designers, Engineers, and Project teams. Responsibilities include creating ATPs, grounding calculations, root-cause analysis, and interfacing with suppliers while applying

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in design, integration and certification of electrical components in aircraft interiors.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft documentation systems (CMM, SB) and configuration control.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; multicultural exposure is a plus.
• 2+ years of CATIA V5 experience with electrical design/wire routing modules.
• Knowledge of PLM databases such as Teamcenter, Agile or Enovia.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of software programming and configuration control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical design and integration of electronics into aircraft seats.
• Plan, schedule, and track engineering tasks and report to management.
• Summarize customer requirements and ensure alignment with the team and stakeholders.
• Create test procedures and groundings calculations for electrical harnesses.
• Interface with suppliers and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support manufacturing with documentation and configuration control.
