Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating is seeking an Electrical/Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate the electrical design and integration of electronics into aircraft seats. You will plan tasks, track engineering work, and ensure compliance with airframe and customer requirements while coordinating across Designers, Project Engineers, and Certification Engineers.

The role requires 3–7 years of experience, a Bachelors in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering, and hands-on CATIA V5 experience for wiring and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
3-7 years experience in related field.
Experience in design, integration and certification of Electrical Components installed in Aircraft interiors.
CATIA V5 with electrical design/wire routing modules (2+ years).
Knowledge of PLM databases such as Teamcenter, Agile or Enovia.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; multicultural exposure a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Coordinate electrical design and integration of electronics into aircraft seats with Designers, Design Engineers and Project Engineers.
Plan, schedule and track engineering tasks and report to Program and Engineering Management.
Summarize customer requirements and ensure alignment with team and customer expectations.
Create ATPs and review IFE/Electrical vendor testing procedures.
Develop grounding and bonding calculations for electrical components.
Support Purchasing and Production with BOMs and documentation.
