Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Project Engineer to coordinate all technical activities on assigned seats projects, ensuring compliance with FAA/EASA and RECARO standards.

You will plan and track engineering tasks, communicate customer requirements to the team, and coordinate with suppliers and overseas engineers to deliver certified seating solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering with 2–7 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience in the design of aircraft interiors.
• Familiarity with aircraft documentation systems for after sales (CMM, SB) and configuration control.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 or equivalent CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all design and certification activities for aircraft seats.
• Plan, schedule, and track engineering tasks; provide reports to management.
• Communicate customer requirements to the team; ensure expectations are met.
• Respond to customer concerns with design changes per regulations.
• Coordinate design reviews with project engineers; discuss engineering issues and requests.
• Provide BOMs and documentation to support sourcing of components.
• Interact with outside suppliers during the design process.
• Participate in meetings with overseas engineers and program management.
• Monitor capacity planning for engineering tasks.
