Job summary

Strata-G, LLC in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Instrumentation & Controls professional to develop detailed design packages and support field installation and troubleshooting of plant systems.

The role emphasizes applying NEC, UL 508A and ISA standards; PE license is preferred; Rockwell Automation software experience with RSLogix and FactoryTalk View is a plus; travel and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience and 3+ years instrumentation and controls design experience.
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix, FactoryTalk View) is preferred.
PE license is preferred but not required; ability to obtain security clearances may be needed.

Responsibilities

Develop high quality detailed design packages and equipment specifications.
Provide engineering procurement and field technical support for implemented designs.
Perform plant walkdowns and generate design documents for craft personnel.
Apply NEC, UL 508A and ISA standards to instrumentation and controls systems.
