Job summary

Paragon Energy Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer I for our Fort Worth, Texas office. The role focuses on applying sound engineering principles across design, development, testing and evaluation for equipment used in nuclear safety-related projects.

You will work on equipment such as motor control centers, switchgear, control panels, starters and transformers, collaborating across teams to ensure project success from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with industry experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels within the organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to generate creative approaches while adhering to quality and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment specifications are met and project scope is followed with engineering rigor.
• Maintain requirements and specifications for multiple projects for multiple clients.
• Develop test plans and analyze component function and design requirements.
• Perform design reviews to ensure client requirements and industry standards are met.
• Create and refine design and test documentation to capture design intent and key aspects.
• Collaborate with engineers to share knowledge and develop analytical processes.
