Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Tampa, FL, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Graduate for an entry-level role within our Engineer Development Training (EDT) program. You will collaborate with engineering teams on designs, CAD/BIM drafting, and cross-trade coordination while learning from senior staff.

This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office Monday–Thursday, remote Friday) and opportunities for professional growth with our EDT program, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a graduation date Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027.
• FE or EIT preferred.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes to begin to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
• Coordination with the designs of other trades under the guidance of more senior staff.
• Support the design and engineering efforts for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
