Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in California is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineering Graduate to join our engineering team. You will learn from senior staff and support designs that are inspiring, demanding, and highly collaborative.

The EDT program provides accelerated training in technical and business aspects, mentoring, and career development, with exposure to MEP CAD/BIM, REVIT, and design software, plus strong benefits and a flexible hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Electrical engineering or Architectural Engineering with a graduation date Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027
• FE or EIT preferred
• Knowledge of MEP Auto CAD; REVIT experience is a plus
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer
• Learn drawing organization and company standards
• Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes
• Coordinate with the designs of other trades under guidance of senior staff
• Support design and engineering efforts for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades
• Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments
• Assist engineers with field investigations and site visits
• Participate in EDT program training sessions and related activities
• Attend Engineering Development Program continuing education seminars
