Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking an entry level Electrical Engineering I to join our global engineering team. You will support design and drafting tasks and learn from senior engineers in a collaborative environment.

The EDT program and a flexible schedule—office Monday to Thursday and remote Friday—offer hands-on training and professional growth as you contribute to a wide range of MEP projects. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with upcoming graduation and EIT/ FE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Electrical engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a graduation date Winter 2026, Spring or Summer of 2027.
• Previous engineering internship, a plus.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP Auto CAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.
• E.I.T. or FE required.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes to begin to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
• Coordinate with the designs of other trades under the guidance of more senior staff.
• Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
• Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assignments.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe and attend project coordination meetings.
• Participate in the Engineering Development Program continuing education seminars.
