Job summary

Johnson Controls in New Freedom, PA, seeks an Electrical Engineer for the Product Electrical Engineering team in HVAC. You will oversee system electrical design of air- and water-cooled chillers and support production, lab, service, and marketing teams globally. Candidates must be commuting distance or willing to relocate.

Relocation packages are available. Sponsorship is not available; US citizenship or permanent residency required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
1-3 years of system level electrical and panel design.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
US Citizenship and/or Permanent Residents of the US.

Responsibilities

Define, interpret, and implement design solutions for electrical systems in chillers.
Drive development and sustainment of electrical systems across product platforms.
Own global engineering documentation and ensure timely deliverables.
Evaluate electrical power panels, control panels, VSDs, and wiring designs for UL/NEC/CSA/CE compliance.
Develop repeatable workflows to streamline operations and delivery.
