Job summary

Moderna is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the Norwood campus’ electrical and utility systems for GMP manufacturing operations. You will help design, maintain, and improve critical electrical infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on reliability, compliance, and sustainable operations with cross-functional collaboration across facilities and engineering teams. On-site, full-time position with no remote work and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 4+ years of experience in facilities/utilities/manufacturing or related engineering environment.
• Site-based role requiring full-time presence at Moderna site in US, no remote work.
• Cannot offer immigration sponsorship; candidate must have work authorization in US without future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support development of utility and electrical system specifications for new installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Provide technical input for scopes of work and project planning, and support engineering studies per site standards.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure GMP/compliance.
• Support maintenance program improvements for reliability and performance.
• Assist in RCFA and root-cause investigations to resolve failures.
• Perform field data collection, one-line drawing updates, and electrical system analysis.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on construction, renovations, and capital projects.
• Support shutdown planning and execution; promote safe, compliant operations.
