Job summary

Moderna Marlborough site seeks an on‑site maintenance specialist to support 1st shift manufacturing operations in a GMP environment. You will independently maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize complex facility and process equipment to ensure regulatory readiness and operational continuity.

Working at the intersection of engineering and automation, you’ll engage with data‑driven maintenance and Generative AI insights to enhance reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Technical Certification or Associate’s Degree preferred in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Site-based role; not eligible for remote work.
• U.S. work authorization required; no immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform preventive and corrective maintenance across manufacturing, utility, and facility systems in a GMP pharmaceutical environment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on critical process equipment in real time to minimize downtime.
• Execute and document maintenance activities within Maximo, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
• Support equipment calibration, validation, and commissioning activities, contributing to lifecycle management and regulatory readiness.
• Provide first-line technical support for production-critical systems, escalating complex challenges when required.
• Oversee and perform repairs and maintenance tasks with autonomy and technical judgment.
