Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related accredited program.
• 4–8 years of related electrical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required for the Engineer title; Designer designation possible for non-P.E. candidates.
• Experience with electrical design, analysis, and system selection for building applications.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing electrical design documentation, including BIM models, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to participate from schematic design through construction documents and administration.
• Experience coordinating permitting and regulatory documentation with local authorities.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, sustainability professionals, construction teams, and outside consultants.
• Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills.
• LEED certification or other sustainable building certification is a plus.

Job Details

• Experience conducting research related to electrical systems, products, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
• Experience with construction-phase activities, including submittal review, construction site observations, and commissioning.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• LEED certification or other sustainable building certification is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
