Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an entry-level Electrical Engineer to support examinations infrastructure. You will assist in maintaining electrical systems, power supplies, instrumentation, data acquisition, and control hardware used to test critical components.

You will work with senior engineers and IT staff, help update schematics, support calibrations, and contribute to system readiness and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a technical/engineering/science field or Masters in the same area.
• Strong technical aptitude in circuits, instrumentation, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve electrical examination systems and infrastructure.
• Set up, configure, and checkout electrical examination hardware.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues with engineers and IT staff.
• Update schematics, documentation, and configuration records.
• Assist in system readiness activities, calibrations, and functional checks.
