Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer – Examinations Infrastructure Support in Idaho Falls. You will assist in maintaining electrical examination systems, calibrations, and readiness checks, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and IT staff to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with strong circuits, instrumentation, and control systems knowledge, capable of working in a team and adhering to safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related technical, engineering or science field.
  • Masters degree in a related technical, engineering or science field.
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setup, configuration, and checkout of electrical examination systems and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues with coordination from senior staff.
  • Maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and configuration records for readiness and calibration activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to increase reliability and maintainability of infrastructure.
