Job summary

Sigma Defense seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our team at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The role focuses on solving problems in a large real-time EW system environment and supporting field testing and training with DoW accredited EW systems.

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's (or advanced) degree in Engineering or related STEM field, with equivalent experience considered. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Analysis, or related STEM discipline.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Problem solving in a large real time complex EW system environment.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and develop complex system designs and architectures.
• Support field testing and training using DoW accredited EW Systems.
• Spectrum management in support of EW field operations.
• Analyze and develop Electronic Attack (EA) and Sensing (ES) techniques.
• Provide subject matter expertise in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications.
• Assist with test and evaluation, checkout, certification tasks.
• Review change proposals for equipment impacts.
• Provide technical data and evaluation for components installation, equipment maintenance, and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout, and contract requirements.
