Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) seeks an Electrical Engineer to provide design, construction, and maintenance support for White Sands Test Facility projects in Las Cruces, NM. You’ll help manage design processes, cost estimating, procurement, and scheduling, and may advise on engineering tests and equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years as a design/requirements engineer, and US citizenship. Proficiency with MS Office and security clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Design Engineer or Requirements Engineer in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Office products at an intermediate level.
• Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screening as required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides electrical engineering design, construction, and maintenance support for WSTF requirements.
• Prepares scopes of work, specifications, and cost estimates for future projects.
• Coordinates RFIs, Change Orders, and field problem solving during construction.
• Engages in design reviews and coordinates CAD/GIS support.
• Serves as electrical engineer-of-record for design documents and reports.
