Job summary

Mercury Systems seeks a College Graduate to join its Rotational Engineering Program (REP) in Torrance, CA, starting July 2027. You’ll work on embedded computing, high-speed digital systems, secure processing and FPGA-based hardware, mentored by a world-class engineering team.

You will rotate across engineering groups, gain exposure to senior leadership, and tackle design-for-manufacturing and test challenges during a two-year program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering (May 2026–June 2027).
• GPA 3.1 or higher; transcripts required.
• Co-op or internship in engineering/electronics role.
• Experience with digital test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and high-speed oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge of PCIe, HDMI, Ethernet, SATA interfaces.
• Familiarity with video input/output processing.
• Understanding of hardware development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics hardware using modern schematic capture tools.
• Develop and test/verify complex circuits, modules or systems to meet requirements.
• Support production to resolve manufacturing issues or field failures.
• Collaborate with hardware design team to improve DFM, DFA and DFT processes.
• Contribute as a hands-on individual contributor through the development cycle including schematic, layout, testing and optimization.

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting--edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. As an Electrical REP Engineer, you'll join a collaborative engineering team focused on development of advanced embedded computing, high-speed digital systems, secure processing, and FPGA-based hardware. Job Responsibilities

• Design electronics hardware using modern schematic capture tools


• Design, develop and test/verify complex circuits, modules or systems to meet customer and market requirements.


• Support production to resolve manufacturing issues or field failure investigation.


• Collaborate with the hardware design team to improve processes for design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA) and design for test (DFT) activities.


• Hand-on individual contributor throughout the development process including schematic design, layout, design verification testing, validation and optimization of hardware design and integration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering obtained between May 2026 and June 2027


• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the application process


• Prior Co-Op or internship experience in an engineering or electronics-focused environment


• Experience in the use of digital test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and high-speed oscilloscopes


• Experience or knowledge in highspeed digital interfaces such as PCIe, HDMI, Ethernet and SATA


• Experience or knowledge with video input and output processing


• Basic knowledge of hardware engineering development process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in military test standards, such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704.
