Job summary

Mercury Systems invites recent graduates to join the Rotational Engineering Program (REP) in Torrance, CA. As an Electrical REP Engineer, you will work with a world-class team on embedded computing, high-speed digital systems, secure processing, and FPGA hardware.

The two-year program offers hands-on development, leadership exposure, and collaboration with senior leadership, with training across the full electrical development lifecycle and opportunities aligned with Mercury objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering completed between May 2026 and June 2027.
• Minimum GPA 3.1; transcripts required during application.
• Previous Co-Op or internship in engineering/electronics.
• Experience with spectrum analyzers and high-speed oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with PCIe, HDMI, Ethernet, SATA interfaces.
• Knowledge of hardware development processes.

Responsibilities

• Design electronics hardware using modern schematic capture tools.
• Develop and test complex circuits to meet customer and market requirements.
• Support production to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with hardware team to improve DFM, DFA and DFT.

College Graduate - Rotational Engineering Program (REP) - start date July 2027 in Torrance, CA

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. As an Electrical REP Engineer, you'll join a collaborative engineering team focused on development of advanced embedded computing, highspeed digital systems, secure processing, and FPGAbased hardware. Job Responsibilities:

• Design electronics hardware using modern schematic capture tools
• Design, develop and test/verify complex circuits, modules or systems to meet customer and market requirements.
• Support production to resolve manufacturing issues or field failure investigation.
• Collaborate with the hardware design team to improve processes for design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA) and design for test (DFT) activities.
• Hand-on individual contributor throughout the development process including schematic design, layout, design verification testing, validation and optimization of hardware design and integration.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering obtained between May 2026 and June 2027
• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the application process
• Prior CoOp or internship experience in an engineering or electronics-focused environment
• Experience in the use of digital test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and high-speed oscilloscopes
• Experience or knowledge in highspeed digital interfaces such as PCIe, HDMI, Ethernet and SATA
• Experience or knowledge with video input and output processing
• Basic knowledge of hardware engineering development process

This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations. You may only access such information if you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge in military test standards, such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704.
• Excellent analytical & critical thinking skills
• Experience using Hardware Engineering Design tools, such as Cadence Concept, Cadence Capture, Allegro PCB Designer, SPICE, HyperLynx, Mentor Graphics Valydate
