Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. in the United States is seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in Energy and Power to help evaluate energy needs, develop concept-level plans, and guide projects from design to full execution.

You’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team on feasible, reliable energy solutions. The role demands strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, excellent communication, and the ability to produce design calculations, drawings, and specifications; PE certification is preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related engineering discipline
• At least 4 years of design/consulting experience
• Demonstrated ability for developing design calculations, construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to work independently with minor supervision once given guidance by lead engineer
• Professional Registration as well as PE preferred or able to obtain PE within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Provide feasibility studies, construction documents and construction oversight for energy projects.
• Develop concept-level plans and solutions and advance to full execution.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and clients to drive project outcomes.
• Prepare technical reports and present to stakeholders.
