Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical Engineer to join its Energy and Power team to deliver feasibility studies, construction documents, and oversight for energy projects from concept to full execution. You will engage with clients, develop concept-level plans, and drive detailed designs for implementation.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of design/consulting experience, and HV/MV substation exposure, plus strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of design/consulting experience.
• HV or MV substation experience.
• Ability to develop design calculations, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• PE registration or ability to obtain within 1 year (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide feasibility studies, construction documents, and oversight for energy projects.
• Develop concept-level plans and solutions through detailed design.
• Communicate clearly and solve problems with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Support renewable energy and energy storage initiatives.
