Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Energy and Power to join a multidisciplinary team delivering end-to-end energy projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction oversight. You will evaluate client needs, develop concept plans, and support execution from exploration to repowering, with emphasis on reliability and sustainability.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of design/consulting experience, HV/MV

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
4+ years of design/consulting experience.
HV or MV Substations experience.
Demonstrated ability to develop design calculations, construction drawings and specifications.
Professional Engineer (PE) license within 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct feasibility studies, develop construction documents, and provide construction oversight for energy projects.
Communicate clearly and solve technical problems with a multi-disciplinary team.
Develop concept-level plans and guide details through execution from exploration to operation.
Support decarbonization and energy storage initiatives with robust design and analysis.
