Job summary

DDS Engineering & Surveying, LLP (DDSE) seeks an Electrical Engineer to design electrical, instrumentation and control systems for natural gas and energy facilities, including gate and regulator stations. You will work with a multidisciplinary team from concept through construction, ensuring compliant, safe, and efficient designs.

The role offers collaboration with experienced engineers and field personnel, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to diverse utility projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical design experience in utility/industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Office programs, and calculation software.
• Strong communication, organization, and client interaction skills.
• Detail-oriented with a drive for quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve electrical systems for facilities and equipment.
• Prepare design packages including diagrams, schedules, layouts, and I/O drawings.
• Produce detailed drawings and calculations using AutoCAD and related tools.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and field teams for constructible designs.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in budgeting and cost estimation.
