Job summary

DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE) is seeking a Gas Project Engineer to contribute to civil engineering for natural gas infrastructure projects. You will manage design, engineering, permitting, and approvals necessary for each project and may perform field-based activities as needed.

Join a team of experienced professionals and coordinate with clients, regulators, and staff to deliver safe, compliant gas solutions across multiple Northeast sites.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience in natural gas or utility design.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and other staff.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field or substantial equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of civil engineering for natural gas infrastructure projects.
• Manage design, engineering, permitting and approvals for projects; perform field activities as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
