Zusammenfassung

Harmar Mobility seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electronics development for mobility products, including wheelchair lifts and accessibility devices. You will prototype, test, document and debug electronics and work to ensure safety compliances and timely production launches.

In this role you will evaluate concepts for manufacturability, collaborate with customers and suppliers, and optimize designs for cost effectiveness while maintaining high quality.

Qualifikationen

• History of working independently and as a member of a team under time and resource constraints.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to manage projects, multi-task and set priorities.
• Evidence of strong technical problem solving and ability to develop solutions for a smooth workflow in a fast-paced product development environment.
• Effective interpersonal skills with clear communication.
• Ability to specify, evaluate and select appropriate electrical/electronic components.
• Experience working in a design team interfacing with customers, suppliers, and external resources.
• Familiarity with firmware/hardware interactions and compliance issues.

Aufgaben

• Define, document, prototype, test and debug electronics for medical devices.
• Evaluate and optimize product concepts for function, manufacturability, and material handling.
• Generate product prototypes and perform product testing to meet specifications and timing objectives.
• Develop cost analyses for new concepts from design through production launch.
• Coordinate internal testing resources and ensure testing quality and reporting.
• Meet electrical safety compliance requirements (FDA, CE, UL, NEC, FCC) and coordinate testing.
