Job summary

Harmar Mobility seeks a Mechanical Engineer to advance lift products. You will design mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, prototype and test, ensuring manufacturability and cost targets. You’ll work with product engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative mobility solutions.

The role emphasizes design for safety and compliance, cost analysis, and coordination with production, suppliers, and service teams to bring new concepts to mass production.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years in an industrial mechanical design environment.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and test.
• Familiarity with GD&T and design documentation.
• Strong CAD and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and electro-mechanical lift systems from concept to production.
• Prototyping, testing, debugging, and release to manufacturing.
• Evaluate concepts for manufacturability, fit, cost, and packaging.
• Generate prototypes and perform product testing to meet specs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
