Job summary
RTX is seeking a skilled engineer in Cedar Rapids to coordinate test equipment design reviews and develop comprehensive test solutions for manufacturing and service environments. You will design and prototype with mechanical and electrical components, integrating equipment and lab setups for testing, using Python, C#, LabVIEW, and Visual Basic.
Requirements include a STEM degree with 2+ years of related experience or an advanced degree, plus proven Python and C# skills and circuit design
Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Proven experience with software skills in Python and C# are required.
- Experience with circuit design.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate test equipment design reviews and ensure generation of appropriate design documentation.
- Review product designs and create test solutions that maximize test coverage in manufacturing and service environments.
- Design and build prototypes with mechanical and electrical components.
- Integrate equipment and lab set-up for testing, using Python, C#, LabVIEW, Visual Basic.
